Medlio is a new application that makes interacting with healthcare easier. Our founders recognized that it's not only hard to find a doctor, but then going from search to an actual consultation is both time consuming and laborious.
We are working to create a seamless online patient journey from doctor search to doctor’s visit.
Healthcare providers and organizations create search profiles on Medlio where patients can find them using the search criteria that is important to patients. Once found, patients can schedule an appointment, share medical records, health information, and insurance information directly with the doctor - all with just a few taps of a smart phone.
Medlio lets you gain access to all your health records — such as medications, immunizations, lab results, and more — and aggregate them all from multiple locations to one place - your smart phone.
Add your health records
1) Open the Medlio app, then tap myRecords.
2) Tap Get Started.
3) To add providers, scroll or search for your doctors, hospitals or networks, then tap one.
4) Sign in to your healthcare provider's authentication page. Your web browser might ask you to save your password.
5) Wait for your records to update. It might take a minute or two for your information to appear.
Repeat these steps for each supported provider.
No problem. You can download all your records and then add any missing information.
Healthcare providers only recently started adding your records to their Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. There’s a good chance they don’t have all your data available electronically. You can complete the important missing information so that you have everything in one place, which is also easily shareable.
We have a rapidly growing list of doctors, hospital systems, medical groups and other health organizations that support records sharing on Medlio.
New government regulations, such as Meaningful Use Stage 3, MIPS, MACRA, and 21st Century Cure’s Act, are beginning to mandate healthcare organizations make your data available on the app of your choice. If you don’t currently see your doctor listed, just tell them to enable Medlio. It’s easy, fast and free - for you and them.
Once you have downloaded Medical records on Medlio , you can delete them at any time. Just tap the More menu > Delete records, and they’re gone from Medlio. You can also delete your institution connections. Just tap Delete Connection from the More menu.
Medlio Health Records allows you to securely download your health records from participating healthcare organizations. Your health records data is downloaded over an encrypted connection from the healthcare organization to the Medlio app on your phone. After health records have been downloaded to your phone, your data is encrypted on your device.
Your data, including your health records, remains under your complete control.
It’s easy. Just enter your insurance company name and your member number. You can also snap a photo of the front and back of your insurance card. We use an existing electronic infrastructure to get you your real-time health insurance benefits information. You can see your defined co-pays, deductibles, max out-of-pocket, and paid-to-date statuses.
New regulation is requiring insurance companies to make this information available electronically. If you don’t see your insurance company listed, just tell them to enable Medlio. It’s easy, fast and free - for you and them.
Coming soon you’ll see exciting new features including wearables connectivity, a symptom checker, secure messaging, virtual visits, and more.
Medlio is a free tool that allows you to promote your Organization (as well as your Care Locations and Providers) across Medlio in-app and online patient searches.
With a Medlio account, you can interact more efficiently with your patients and welcome new patients looking for a provider like you.
Through your Medlio Profile, your patients can securely access their medical records (qualifying your organization for MU3, MIPS, MACRA, 21st Century Cures Act, and other patient engagement and patient data blocking rules), fill out and submit their medical forms to you, schedule appointments, message, and pay directly from Medlio.
Your free Medlio Profile helps you and your organization show up when it matters most: the moment patients are searching for the services you offer. Log in to your Medlio account to update your address, phone number, open hours, services offered, insurances accepted and more to help patients find and connect with your organization.

Keep in mind you may need to refresh your browser to see the changes to your profile.
Everything! Seriously, the more the better. You want your prospects to find you and get in touch with you as easily as possible.
Information that’s extra important to include:
Services you offer. This is the most common patient search conducted. Make sure you are getting found for your specialty and the services you perform routinely.
Insurances you accept. This is where patients typically begin their search. If you keep this information updated you can also avoid the dreaded payer phone calls every month and just refer them directly to your Medlio profile.
FHIR and API details from your EHR vendor. This ensures your patients can access their medical records on Medlio (qualifying you and your organization for MU3, MIPS, MACRA, 21st Century Cures Act, and other patient engagement and patient data blocking rules).
Pictures. People want to see the practice, the organization, the providers before they choose where to go.
Locations. including address, phone number, website. Make sure they can easily find and reach you.
Providers. Add training, education, and professional achievements.
Office hours. And more.
Yes, absolutely! That’s the idea. An Organization should ideally claim all of their Care Location Profiles and all of their Provider Profiles. This ensures that your organization’s patients can connect with you however they are searching: by organization, by location, or by provider.
Care Location and Provider Profiles are particularly important for prospective patient searches. Patients want to find a provider they like, in a location convenient to them. And if your locations and providers are not showing up, you will miss those new patients.
We do not remove profiles from our site. The information in a Provider Profile is pulled from public records and is publicly available information. If you are concerned that public information we share on our website is incorrect, please let us know and we will do our best to update it. You might also want to check your NPI listing to ensure that the information in your public record is up-to-date.
If you haven’t yet, you can also claim your Medlio profile and update information like your address, phone number, services offered, insurances accepted, training and work experience, and professional achievements.
If you do not want a profile to be displayed, you can claim your account and check the “Keep private” box and your information will not be viewable.
Medlio offers a professional website for you and your organization that you can set up in minutes. It’s created automatically using information from your Medlio Profile, and auto-updates as you make changes to your profile. You can choose from a variety of site themes and offer patients multiple ways to get in touch with you, like calling, messaging, or requesting an appointment.
Once you sign up for your free Medlio account, our website builder pulls in your Profile details to generate a clean, modern, professional website. From there, you can add photos or choose from different template designs to customize your website.
Medlio websites include continuously updated security certificates, modern, patient-friendly user experience, and are mobile responsive.
Medlio websites start at $19/mo and include hosting.
