Healthcare is incredibly complex. Much of that complexity is unnecessary, and frequently benefits people and organizations that do not truly have our best interest at heart.
Medlio believes it’s time to fix that. We believe in the power of consumers to force change. We believe that if you treat people with respect, provide full transparency, offer choice and let them make their own decisions, you will get the best outcome… most of the time.
We get it. It’s not a perfect answer. Nevertheless, we’d rather err on the side of personal freedom and responsibility than hopelessly await the deus ex machina stage left. There is no magic bean, and there is no magic pill (except for maybe Motrin, which is actually pretty close).
In the meantime, we’re going to keep working on building tools that empower consumers. We (all of us) will fix this. It’s just a matter of time.
