Medlio, Inc. Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use

At Medlio, Inc. (hereinafter “Medlio”, “we”, “us” and words of similar import), we know you care about your personal privacy and about the terms and conditions that govern your use of this website, www.medl.io (this “site”) and the mobile application (the "app"). Because we are dedicated to serving your needs and respecting your preferences, we have adopted the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy and Conditions of Use (this “Policy”).

 

The following statement discloses our standard practice regarding the information we collect and the information we hold on behalf of our customers and visitors to this site. This Policy only applies to this site and the app. The Policy does not pertain to third-party websites that are accessible through Medlio’s site nor does this Policy apply to information gathered via our iPad check-in application used in various physician offices. If you submit personally identifiable information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. You should read the privacy policies of any third-party website and as set forth on the iPad check-in applications to learn how such information is collected and used.

 

This Policy applies only to personally identifiable information that you supply to Medlio on this site or in the app.

In general, we collect and use information about you for the purpose of contacting you to provide you with information about Medlio's products and services, or to provide you with other information related to Medlio. We do not sell, rent or otherwise share or disclose your private, personally identifiable information to third parties without your consent or as otherwise explained in this Policy (e.g., see sections entitled “Information You Provide To Us” and Restrictions on Disclosing Information to Third Parties.

 

Because of the nature of our business, our services and benefits are not designed to appeal to minors. We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive any information from children. If you are under 13, please do not register on this site, make any purchases through this site or send any information about yourself to us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information and terminate the child's account from our databases. Information You Provide To Us

 

On our “Request Information” and “Request Demo” pages, the following information is required: your first and last name, telephone number, and email address. 

 

On our "Support" page, your email address and other contact information will be provided to us. This information is used only to respond to your support-related question or issue. On our "Contact Us" page, you are directed to send an email to a specific department within Medlio. Through this process your email address and comment or question are collected. This information is used only to respond to your question or suggestion.

 

Medlio will treat any information about its visitors to our site as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without your consent or as otherwise provided herein.

 

Correspondence

 

If you correspond with us via email, the postal service or other form of communication, we may retain such correspondence and the information contained therein and use such to respond to your inquiry and/or notify you of Medlio products and services, conferences, news or other Medlio-related opportunities. Importantly, email and postal address information is never sold, given or otherwise shared or disclosed to third parties except as set forth herein.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 

Customer Testimonials/Comments/Reviews

 

We post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our site, which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial, in order to post their name along with their testimonial.  If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at hello@medl.io.

 

Social Media

 

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as links to Medlio’s Facebook page and Twitter feed. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media websites are hosted by third parties. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing them.

 

Blog

 

Our Web site offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of any personal information you submit to openly viewable parts of the Service, please contact us at support@medl.io. However, please be aware that in some cases, we may not be able to remove such information you submit, in which case we will let you know. Alternatively, if you used a third party application to post such information, you can remove it by either logging into said application and removing the information, or by contacting the appropriate third party application.

 

 

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

 

Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by Medlio and our analytics provider, Google Analytics. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

 

We use cookies to improve our site and to personalize your web-browsing experience by providing Medlio with a better understanding of your interests and requirements regarding our site. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited.
